Our Directors Shanna Wood
Licensed Funeral Director
Shanna was born in Estherville, IA and moved to Mankato in 1992. She graduated from Mankato East High School in 1997. She became interested in a career in funeral service after a career day in high school. She attended Minnesota State University, Mankato and later transferred to the University of Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in Mortuary Science.
After working a year in a funeral home in the small southwest Minnesota town of Westbrook she was excited for the opportunity to move back to her hometown of Mankato.
Shanna and her husband Brent enjoy downhill skiing, biking, camping, and spending time with family and friends and cat Indy. Shanna is also a member of the Mankato Area Women of Today.

Jack White Licensed Funeral Director
Jack has been a licensed funeral director serving the Mankato area for over 23 years. During his forty-six years in funeral service, Jack has served families in St. Paul, LeSueur, and Mankato, all in Minnesota, and in Ireland. Having 46 years of professional experience together with his personal experiences including the death of his son, daughter and granddaughter, enable Jack to serve each family with compassion and empathy.
A Minnesota native, Jack graduated from Cretin High School in St. Paul. Prior to serving in the United States Army, Jack attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He later earned his degree in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota.
Over the years, Jack has been very active in his church, serving as a lector, Eucharistic minister, usher, greeter, and Parish Council President. Jack has also participated in many civic organizations; including Theatre Exchange Club, Lion’s Club, Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, and the Serra Club.
Jack and his wife, Romi enjoy spending time with their six children, twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
